What properties does astm 316 cold drawn stainless steel round bar have?

Astm 316 cold drawn stainless steel round bar is a commonly used bar with good brightness, heat resistance and good welding performance.

1. Heat resistance: 316 stainless steel has good oxidation resistance in intermittent use below 1600 degrees and continuous use below 1700 degrees. In the range of 800-1575 degrees, the continuous action of astm 316 cold drawn stainless steel round bar is not used, but in the temperature range other than continuous use of 316 stainless steel, stainless steel has good heat resistance.

2. Heat treatment: annealing in the temperature range of 1850-2050°C, then rapid annealing, and then rapid cooling. 316 stainless steel shall not be hardened by overheating.

3. Welding: astm 316 cold drawn stainless steel round bar has good welding performance and can be used for all standard welding methods. Depending on the purpose, 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel filler electrodes or electrodes can be used for welding.
