8K mirror 304 stainless steel sheet | Grinding and polishing process
In today's top decoration projects, high-end 8K mirror 304 stainless steel sheets are more and more favored by most designers, especially the mirror titanium plates of various colors after reprocessing 8K stainless steel sheets, which have become the main decorative high-end sheets. decorative material. What process is used to produce the 8K mirror 304 stainless steel sheet?
There are two basic stainless steel sheets that can be processed into 8K mirror 304 stainless steel sheet, one is the matte 2B surface, and the other is the BA surface with higher brightness.
The first step in production is grinding. Grinding is carried out on a grinding wheel with abrasives, and bone glue or leather glue is used as a binder on the grinding wheel to bond various abrasives. The purpose of grinding is to remove burrs, blisters, bubbles, welding scars, scratches, corrosion marks, oxide scales and various macro defects on the surface of the stainless steel decorative plate, thereby improving the flatness of the surface and ensuring the quality of the stainless steel project.
After grinding, some sand holes and burrs on the surface are not too obvious, and then need to enter the second process, polishing. Polishing methods include: mechanical polishing, chemical polishing and electrochemical polishing. The 8K mirror 304 stainless steel sheet is mainly realized by the second chemical polishing.
Chemical polishing is a chemical etching process performed on the surface of metal products under specific conditions. Since the microprotrusions on the metal surface in a particular solution dissolve much more rapidly than the microdimples, the end result is a smooth shiny surface. The method is suitable for surface polishing of steel, iron, copper, aluminum, nickel, zinc, cadmium and other metal products from their alloys.
After two production processes of grinding and polishing, the 8K mirror 304 stainless steel sheet as bright as a mirror is produced.
