304 stainless steel is a metastable austenitic stainless steel composed of different phases at different temperatures. Usually 304 stainless steel is non-magnetic, but sometimes it has weak magnetic properties due to segregation of components during smelting or improper heat treatment.
On the other hand, when 304 stainless steel is cold worked, the microstructure will also transform to martensite, and the greater the processing deformation, the more martensitic transformation and the greater the magnetism.

Characteristics and uses of 304 stainless steel
Stainless steel is a high-alloy steel with a beautiful surface and good corrosion resistance, and is usually not easily corroded in air or chemical media.
